Comrades! Happy New Year!

The New Year is upon us — and we’re one step closer to our goal: arrival on the Red Planet.

First, let me welcome all the new comrades joining our ranks! 

You’re receiving this email because, many moons ago, many of you supported Iron Sky — a film about Nazis on the Dark Side of the Moon. Today, we’re working on a new science-fiction trilogy called DEEP RED. This time, it’s about Communists on Mars. The setting has changed, the scale has grown, but the spirit of bold, satirical sci-fi storytelling continues.

Our plans for 2026 are now coming into focus, and there are two key dates we’d like to share.

February 28 — A development milestone

As part of building DEEP RED, we’re currently in an early development and financing phase - we call it “Pre-Round”. This phase concludes on February 28, enabling the production of the official Deep Red Promo, and further development — world-building, story work, and setting up the production and financing infrastructure.

October 4 — Public release

On October 4, the anniversary of Sputnik — when humanity first left Earth — we will release Deep Red Promo!

The Promo is a 4–5 minute short film that acts as a proof of concept, introducing the world, tone, and some amazing visuals that introduce the public to the world of Deep Red.
