Over the past weeks, director Timo Vuorensola has been working closely with storyboard artist James Iles, recently visiting James’s studio to review progress.

The storyboards are looking fantastic and will be delivered very soon — and yes, we’ll be sharing them with you, so stay tuned.

At the same time, we’ve launched the first phase of conceptual art development with concept artist Jan Urschel.

You can admire his previous work here, and he’s now creating the first cinematic concept paintings that bring the world of Deep Red to life.

On top of that, Timo has moved into a more focused phase of writing the trilogy script — things are moving fast on all fronts.

Meanwhile, producer Tero Kaukomaa has been laying the groundwork for production and early partnerships.

A few weeks ago, he traveled to Norway to pitch Deep Red at a private investor gathering. Next week, we’ll be presenting the project at FIBAN, the Finnish Business Angels Network. After that, it’s off to Berlin for the European Film Market (EFM) — the first major film market of the year.

This is where Deep Red began taking shape one year ago.
Now we return — armed with a plan, a team, and the ambition to conquer the world.
